The predominance of chemical dyes and ink in the textile and paper industry seldom made me think that there exist colors that we could borrow from nature, blues and greys of the sky, browns and greens from the woods, blushing pinks from flowers and endless other sources.

Lockdown 2020, I took to natural dyeing as an experiment. What I gained from the initial few experiments is the art of embracing uncertainties and a keen eye.

Colors, found in foraged materials, flower waste. plant roots, kitchen waste and spices, have been used with combinations of mordants on different fibres and fabrics.

With endless sources of colors in nature and hence, endless possibilities, there'd be experiments, time and again, making this project recurring
